How you can prepare for and settle in Canada if you’re arriving during the pandemic.

Moving to a new country is both an exciting and stressful process. And moving to a new county in this pandemic has more stress. With the right consultants, agents, and planning your journey will be more fruitful.

Researching

One should spend some time to research about their desired community, province, employment and etc. As a professional consultant in this field, we would like to suggest a few things you may want to consider before moving to a new country.

  • Which province?

Every year each province’s government publishes a regular Labour Market Report. This report will be very helpful for determining your career which is in high demand and the desired province also.

  • Lifestyle and Weather?

Weather, lifestyle, and language vary across the provinces. Moving to the rural areas will be quite difficult where the french language is more dominant than the big cities like Ontario or British Columbia. These big cities and urban areas are the popular choices of newcomers.

  • Effect of COVID-19

There may be a delay in documentation due to a pandemic situation but there is a mandatory isolation requirement at the time of arrival to the country.

  • You should have a permanent address secured or you will need to book accommodation for self-isolation.
  • You should have enough funds that will help you to navigate in the new country if you come without an employment offer.
